July 13th Newsletter – Tuna on Spelt Bread

Dear Spelties,
This weeks Spelt recipe – My favourite Tuna Sandwiches made with Spelt Bread


1 can of tuna (try Estevan Tuna from the Farmer’s Market)
1 small carrot, cut into very small pieces
1/2 celery stalk, cut into very small pieces
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise

Spelt Integral Bread

Mix together all ingredients and place as much as you want on a slice of Spelt Bread and put another on top, or top it with cheese and broil it in the oven for a tuna melt. Enjoy the variety of Pan Loaves available in our new cookbook.

Spelt Products Available
One of my favourite noodles that we have available is the fusilli because it is so versatile. Absolutely great with tomato meat sauce and rally good for a pasta salad too. Watch for upcoming recipes with fusilli.
